Two Potato Side Dishes for Holiday EntertainingBoth of these potato sides for holiday entertaining are great quality recipes if you wish to slightly switch up a few classic festive dishes!

If this involves holiday foods, the meat may be the primary event (or at best what will get probably the most attention), however for me, the edges would be the stars from the show. Produce a plate filled with stuffing, mashed taters, candied yams, eco-friendly beans almondine, and cranberry sauce and I’m a fairly happy girl. And also the poultry is totally gravy.

I’m always searching for new recipe suggestions to switch up my sides, essentially only a new spin with an old favorite, to help keep things interesting.

Taters really are a classic within my family, there's always a minumum of one kind of potato dish (usually several) at each holiday meal. Here' required a few faves (mashed taters and latkes) making them a bit more interesting.

Colcannon Potato and Kale Casserole is tasty with garlic clove and cheddar and it has the additional dietary boost from kale it’s an excellent sub for mashed taters for just about any holiday meal. And my Indian-Spiced Potato Latkes offered with mango chutney is really a fun twist on classic latkes for Hanukkah!
